We service clients in a variety of industries including: Commercial, Healthcare, and Industrial applications that involve heating, cooling, process, structural and plumbing systems. Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct Jobsite safety audits and inspections for compliance with company, state, and federal policies, regulations, and procedures
- Demonstrate working knowledge of safety rules and regulations at all levels of government, including federal, state and local
- Participate in pre-job and pre-task safety planning meetings as needed
- Develop site specific safety plans
- Develop confined space entry plans
- Develop fall protection plans
- Conduct investigations on incidents and accidents, create reports and provide recommendations on corrective actions and root causes
- Identify potential causes of incidents and provide recommendations to prevent future accidents and incidents
- Assist in review of company policies and procedures for compliance
- Clearly communicates with Project Managers, Foreman, Management and Clients on areas of safety, health, and environmental needs
- Assist in training employees on safety and health requirements for compliance with regulations and client requirements
- Assist in safety database maintenance, records retention and Work Comp cases
- Work towards Company’s Zero Incident goal
- Perform additional duties per Safety Director
- Assist in training Safety Coordinators
Requirements: (Experience / Education / General)
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
- Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Must meet our auto insurance carrier’s requirements to drive a company vehicle
- Effectively communicate with others by telephone, in written form, email or in person
- Bachelor’s degree in safety or construction management and 3 years in a safety position (construction preferred)
- Ability to travel throughout Wisconsin daily
- Ability to travel out of state on occasion
- Overnight stays as determined by project needs
- 45 hours per week (office hours are 7am – 4pm)
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
