Maintenance Worker
Full-Time | Part-Time | All Shifts Available
We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Worker to support the daily upkeep of the facility, grounds, and equipment. This role helps ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
This position is well suited for someone who takes pride in practical work, follows safety standards, and can respond to day-to-day repair needs in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general facility repairs
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
• Maintain facility grounds, parking areas, and exterior spaces
• Replace light bulbs, fixtures, and minor hardware as needed
• Respond to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs
• Follow infection control, safety, and fire prevention procedures
• Use tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies safely and correctly
• Report safety hazards, equipment issues, or supply needs to supervisor
• Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner
• Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
• Prior maintenance or repair experience preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of tools and general repair tasks
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to work independently and accept direction
Physical Requirements
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment and supplies
• Working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Exposure to tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
