Maintenance Worker
Full-Time | Part-Time | All Shifts Available
We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Worker to support the daily upkeep of the facility, grounds, and equipment. This role helps ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
This position is well suited for someone who takes pride in practical work, follows safety standards, and can respond to day-to-day repair needs in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general facility repairs
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
- Maintain facility grounds, parking areas, and exterior spaces
- Replace light bulbs, fixtures, and minor hardware as needed
- Respond to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs
- Follow infection control, safety, and fire prevention procedures
- Use tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies safely and correctly
- Report safety hazards, equipment issues, or supply needs to supervisor
- Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner
- Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
- Prior maintenance or repair experience preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of tools and general repair tasks
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work independently and accept direction
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment and supplies
- Working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Exposure to tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
