Position Overview
Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking a Project Manager – Telecommunications Wireline to support a large enterprise telecom optimization initiative. This role will lead a program focused on identifying unused phone lines and telecom circuits across the enterprise and coordinating their decommissioning to reduce unnecessary telecommunications spend.
The Project Manager will oversee a team of telecom analysts responsible for reviewing telecom inventory, analyzing billing and usage data, and managing the lifecycle of telecom services. This position requires strong telecommunications domain knowledge, project leadership experience, and the ability to translate telecom data into operational cost savings.
Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of telecom analysts supporting enterprise telecom inventory review

Analyze telecom usage data, billing records, and circuit inventories

Identify unused analog phone lines and data circuits and coordinate service disconnects

Track and report cost savings generated from telecom optimization efforts

Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and reporting

Provide executive-level status updates and savings reports

Qualifications:
Qualifications
Required Technical Skills

7 years of telecommunications or network infrastructure experience

Experience with enterprise telecom environments and legacy voice systems
