Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly capable Electrical Engineer to support advanced power systems analysis, modeling, and protection studies. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive power systems studies, including short-circuit analysis, protective device coordination, and arc flash hazard assessments using SKM Power Tools.

• Ensure all studies and calculations comply with NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584, and other industry standards.

• Analyze, configure, and validate low- and medium-voltage breaker and relay settings for optimal protection and system reliability.

• Collect, interpret, and validate equipment data from drawings, submittals, vendor documentation, and other technical sources to develop accurate electrical system models.

• Read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), equipment specifications, and rating data for LV and MV systems.

• Support multiple concurrent projects by effectively prioritizing tasks and maintaining accuracy and thoroughness in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support system design, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience with proven technical ability.

• 5 years of hands-on experience conducting power systems studies using SKM Power Tools.

• Strong understanding of industry standards, including NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584.

• Demonstrated expertise in LV and MV electrical power systems, protection schemes, and equipment configuration.

• Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
