What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Person/ Delivery/ Material Manager position at Audubon Fence Inc?
Seeking full time Yard Person/ Material Manager 7 am to 3 pm daily Monday thru Friday.Looking to fill this position immediately.Requirements: The next 4 items are a MUST – no exceptions.PLEASE, IF YOU DON'T HAVE, OR CANNOT DO THE FOLLOWING 4 ITEMS DO NOT APPPLY!1. MUST have a current, valid driver’s license with clean driving record.2. Must be able to lift up to 80 pound items (concrete bags) when necessary.3. Must be able/willing to work outdoors year round.4. Must be able to drive a pickup truck with utility type trailer attached and back up.Forklift experience a plus but not necessary, we will train.Looking for a reliable, organized person to work year round.Job description:- Help load trucks/ trailers of multiple installation crews in the morning to insure they have their materials needed for the day’s installation including hardware etc...- Once the crews leave, organize the yard to ensure all materials/ concrete etc.. is secured back in its proper place.- If necessary, drive pickup truck and trailer to local suppliers to pick up any items necessary for the next day installations or material missing from the current days jobs and deliver it to the job site for the Installers in order to finish that day’s installation.IF you have prior fence experience:Possibility for advancement/ make more income if/ once you learn the installation process by doing small repairs such as gate adjustments, tree damage repairs, etc... You will need to know how to do this of course, so if you already have had fence experience in the past this extra income opportunity could start immediately.
