About AuditSuisse Assurance

AuditSuisse Assurance is a professional audit and assurance firm focused on helping high-growth technology companies complete SOC 2 audits with clarity, speed, and credibility. We work with startups, SaaS companies, AI companies, fintech businesses, healthcare technology companies, and other fast-growing organizations that need independent assurance to win enterprise customers, satisfy investor requirements, and build trust in the market.

We are looking for a driven Business Development Representative / Sales Development Representative to help generate new opportunities, engage prospective clients, and support our growth as a leading SOC 2 audit firm.

Role Overview

The BDR/SDR will be responsible for identifying, researching, and engaging prospective customers who may need SOC 2 audits or related compliance services. This person will work closely with leadership, sales, marketing, and audit professionals to build pipeline and create qualified meetings with companies that are ready to start or improve their compliance journey.

This is a great role for someone who is hungry, organized, persuasive, and interested in learning cybersecurity, compliance, audit, SaaS, and B2B sales.

  • Minimum: 1 year of B2B SDR/BDR experience
  • Preferred: 2 years of outbound sales experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, IT, MSP/MSSP, audit, or professional services

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation

  • Research and identify target accounts that are likely to need SOC 2 audits, including SaaS companies, AI companies, fintech companies, healthtech companies, and other technology businesses.
  • Build targeted prospect lists using tools such as LinkedIn, CRM systems, company databases, funding announcements, job postings, website research, and compliance signals.
  • Identify key decision makers, including founders, CEOs, CTOs, COOs, CISOs, Heads of Security, Heads of Compliance, and finance or operations leaders.

Outbound Sales Activity

  • Conduct outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels.
  • Create personalized messages that clearly explain the value of SOC 2 and AuditSuisse Assurance’s audit services.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and nurture leads over time.
  • Experiment with messaging, sequences, and targeting strategies to improve response rates and meeting conversion.

Qualification and Discovery

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on company size, industry, timing, compliance needs, audit readiness, budget, and decision-making process.
  • Understand whether prospects need a SOC 2 Type 1 audit, SOC 2 Type 2 audit, ISO 27001 certification support, HIPAA-related assurance, or broader security/compliance guidance.
  • Schedule qualified meetings for senior sales, partners, or audit leadership.
  • Maintain clear notes on prospect needs, objections, timing, and next steps.

CRM and Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM.
  • Track outreach activity, meetings booked, follow-ups, lead status, and conversion metrics.
  • Ensure clean handoffs from prospecting to sales or leadership.
  • Help improve internal sales processes, lead scoring, outreach sequences, and account prioritization.

Market and Competitive Research

  • Monitor trends in SOC 2, cybersecurity, compliance automation, GRC platforms, startup funding, enterprise vendor requirements, and audit demand.
  • Identify potential partnership opportunities with GRC platforms, MSPs, MSSPs, consultants, law firms, VC firms, and startup ecosystems.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on what prospects are asking for, what objections are coming up, and how the market is responding.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is energetic, intellectually curious, and comfortable reaching out to business and technology leaders. You do not need to be a SOC 2 expert on day one, but you should be excited to learn the language of cybersecurity, compliance, audit, and enterprise sales.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in sales, business development, sales development, recruiting, customer success, account management, or another client-facing role preferred.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, audit, fintech, professional services, or startups is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, follow-up, and rejection.
  • Highly organized and able to manage many prospects and conversations at once.
  • Ability to learn technical and compliance concepts quickly.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay, Instantly, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar tools is a plus.

Why Join AuditSuisse Assurance

You will join a growing audit and assurance firm in a market where demand for SOC 2, cybersecurity assurance, and trust reporting continues to increase.

You will learn how high-growth companies sell to enterprise customers, why security and compliance matter, and how audit firms support companies through important trust milestones.
