Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Audiology Assistant to support our audiologists in delivering high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong organizational skills, and is interested in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist audiologists during patient appointments and procedures
- Clean, check, and maintain hearing aids and equipment
- Perform basic hearing aid troubleshooting and repairs
- Prepare and restock exam rooms
- Manage patient flow and ensure timely appointments
- Educate patients on hearing aid use and care
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, phone calls, and documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior medical office or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities
- Comfortable working with technology and electronic records
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and be trained on audiology procedures
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience in audiology, ENT, or hearing aid dispensing
- Knowledge of hearing aid software and equipment
- CPR certification
