The Engineering Intern will support operations in LaFayette, GA, and may have an opportunity to travel to our corporate location in Washington, PA.
The intern will support any/all engineering and operations functions, with primary focus of driving operational efficiency and improvement.

Primary Tasks And Responsibilities
- Build of machine trending dashboards that make data access and decision-making points easy
- Using current scorecards build out data for AE specific business, evaluate accuracy, and work with engineering and operations team how to apply
- Oil/Rubber Blend process evaluation and how to quantify/qualify
- Oil/Rubber/Resin ratio study of process influence of melt and hardness
- Dusting agent evaluation: talc particle size, precipitated fumed silica
- Analytical and data analysis
- Self-driven and ability to drive for completion
- Willing to be hands-on in a manufacturing environment
- Exceptional teamwork, organization, and communication skills
- At least 2 years of completed coursework in Chemical Engineering or related field of study
