The Activity Aide will be responsible for providing interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents and will assure that there is an on-going program of activities designed to meet the interests and the physical, mental, psycho-social well-being of each resident.
No experience but have a great attitude and love older adults? We'll train you to be an outstanding Activity Aide!
Responsibilities of the Activity Aide:
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing and directing the activity programs in the facility
- Participate in discharge planning and resident assessments
- Visit bed residents daily on a one-to-one basis
- Deliver mail and newspapers to residents
- Participate in planning community events related to the facility
- Complete monthly calendar of events in each wing

Requirements
of the Activity Aide:
- High School Diploma required
- Driver's License
- Operate phones, computers
- Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding of older adults
- Must pass a complete background check, including fingerprinting if necessary
