Description
Auburn Village has an immediate openings for a Housekeeper at our Auburn Village facility in Auburn, Indiana. The position available is Full-Time (Non-Exempt), during week and every other weekend with an 8-hour shift 7:30a-4:00p.
Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:
- Clean resident, staff and visitor areas of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing as directed
- Replenish supply of soap and towels in appropriate receptacles
- Monitor the care and use of supplies, cleaning equipment and the appearance of laundry areas

Requirements
Requirements of the Housekeeper:
- Housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Housekeeping experience in healthcare environment is a plus
- High school graduate
- Experience in a Long-Term Care facility preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Personable and professional demeanor
- Must be punctual and friendly
- Must have passion to work with elderly residents
- Must be compassionate, understanding and tolerant of older adults
