Woody's Liquor located in Garnett, KS is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Clerk to join our team in Garnett, KS. Hours needing covered are Monday & Tuesday 1pm-5:30pm. Also MUST be available to work PRN throughout the week and weekend. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and performing various store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and process payments.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including shelves, displays, and checkout areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock items as needed, and assist with inventory management.
- Assist in the implementation of store promotions and sales.
- Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, and legal regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work every weekend
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to operate the cash register and handle merchandise.
