Position Summary:
- This position will provide support to all material handling, inventory, and shipping and receiving needs.
- Supervisory Responsibility: No
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards.
- Moving material throughout the plant
- Conduct inventory research and analysis
- Interface with all departments and levels of management
- Driving company owned vehicles to pick up and deliver productive and/or maintenance material, while following procedures for documenting expenditures and delivering materials to the proper departments
- Operating overhead crane and unloading steel trucks
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- Previous stand-up forklift, hand truck or stacker experience, required.
- Previous material handling and shipping & receiving experience, preferred.
- Ability to complete forklift training and certification.
Computer Skills:
- To perform this job successfully the following computer proficiencies are desired: Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
