Overview:
AtWork Systems is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to help accelerate growth of our managed services powered by the OneLynk platform. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives on building pipeline, engaging prospects, and creating new business opportunities within the government contracting (GovCon) market.
Responsibilities
- Build prospect list, email sequences and execute outbound call plans using tools such as GovTribe, SalesIntel and Nooks, HubSpot
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to targeted GovCon companies
- Identify and qualify decision-makers, including CFOs, Controllers, and Operations leaders
- Clearly articulate the value of AtWork Systems’ managed services and OneLynk platform
- Schedule and confirm qualified sales meetings for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, activities, and pipeline in CRM (e.g.HubSpot)
- Research target accounts and develop strategic outreach plans
- Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture interest and move them through the funnel
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on campaigns and messaging optimization
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly meeting-setting and pipeline targets
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation
- Proven track record of booking qualified meetings through cold outreach
- Strong communication and phone presence with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools
- Self-starter with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling into or working with government contractors (GovCon)
- Familiarity with SaaS, ERP, or managed services solutions
- Understanding of federal contracting environments (FAR, DCAA, etc.)
Key Success Metrics:
- Number of outbound calls and touches per day/week
- Qualified meetings booked per month
- Pipeline generated for sales team
- Conversion rate from outreach to meeting
