Overview:

AtWork Systems is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to help accelerate growth of our managed services powered by the OneLynk platform. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives on building pipeline, engaging prospects, and creating new business opportunities within the government contracting (GovCon) market.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build prospect list, email sequences and execute outbound call plans using tools such as GovTribe, SalesIntel and Nooks, HubSpot
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to targeted GovCon companies
  • Identify and qualify decision-makers, including CFOs, Controllers, and Operations leaders
  • Clearly articulate the value of AtWork Systems’ managed services and OneLynk platform
  • Schedule and confirm qualified sales meetings for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, activities, and pipeline in CRM (e.g.HubSpot)
  • Research target accounts and develop strategic outreach plans
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture interest and move them through the funnel
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on campaigns and messaging optimization
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly meeting-setting and pipeline targets 


Required Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation
  • Proven track record of booking qualified meetings through cold outreach
  • Strong communication and phone presence with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools
  • Self-starter with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling into or working with government contractors (GovCon)
  • Familiarity with SaaS, ERP, or managed services solutions
  • Understanding of federal contracting environments (FAR, DCAA, etc.)

 

Key Success Metrics:

  • Number of outbound calls and touches per day/week
  • Qualified meetings booked per month
  • Pipeline generated for sales team
  • Conversion rate from outreach to meeting
