Student Success Coach | Part time 8:15am to 2pm | Cincinnati, OH
A Student Coach at Summit Christian School or One Hope Christian Academy is a visionary who possesses the ability and/or willingness to become skilled in research based, blended teaching methodologies and strategies. Our coaches have strong administrative skills, attention to detail, exceptional people skills, and work as an educational team developing a collaborative and collegial working environment where high expectations are set and maintained for students and staff alike. The goal set for every student must be graduation, which provides the gateway to become productive citizens of their communities and the world marketplace. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain routine to monitor student intakes and Individualized Learning Plans, to ensure all graduation requirements are fulfilled.
● Increase motivation, provide positive reinforcement to learning, and constant feedback.
● Instruct students in academic subjects, social interaction, personal and spiritual development, and enhancement of life skills.
● Demonstrate knowledge of and utilize all available curriculum resources.
● Establish and maintain regular channels of communication with home, staff, and related agencies.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work on a team of accountable/responsible colleagues to attain Academy goals
- Desire to motivate and work with urban students in a positive environment
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain high expectations for self and students
- Desire to continue career & professional development activities provided by employer.
- Preferred: Have taught a core subject, and/or an Administrative License
- Pre-employment clearance: Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI)
Pay:
$25-28/hr based on experience
