KEM Coater Operator | Second/Third Shift | Erlanger, KY
The KEM Punch/Coater Operator is responsible for loading, unloading, testing, and operating the Spartanic Punch in the KEM department.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, clean and troubleshoot KEM punch
- Conduct deck integrity inspections
- Loads KEM sheets in the punch
- Inspect sheets as they exit the machine for proper registration
- Operates the machine controls in accordance with operating instructions
- Immediately update maintenance and management of any machine or department abnormalities
- Keep work areas clean and orderly in accordance with 5S standards
- Complete production logs and performs system documentation
- Review with lead person work to be performed
- Comply with documentation such as the follower and schedule
- All duties assigned by KEM Lead and management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of machine operation experience
- Prior printing experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
- High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines
- Ability to quickly identify production problems and ability to identify quality problems
- Ability to work well with others and cooperate with team members and leadership team
Schedule:
First Shift: 6:45pm-2:45pm Mon-Fri
Third Shift: 2:45pm-10:45am Mon-Fri
Pay:
$20-22/hr
