Production Coordinator - Scheduling & operations
Pay: $26–$32/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday (4-day work week)
Job Type: Full-Time (M-TH 6AM-4:30PM)
About the role
We are seeking a Production Coordinator to manage and execute daily production flow.
This role ensures that demand, materials, and capacity are aligned to support efficient operations and on-time delivery.
Success in this role requires strong decision-making, organization, and the ability to proactively address challenges in a dynamic environment.
What you'll do
Production Scheduling & flow
- Build and manage daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, capacity, and priorities
- Release jobs to the floor with correct timing, materials, and routing
- Make real-time adjustments to keep production on track
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with purchasing, operations, and customer-facing teams
- Identify and communicate risks early (material shortages, delays, bottlenecks)
- Drive solutions to keep production moving
Execution & Follow-Through
- Track job progress and take action when production falls behind
- Support production meetings with accurate, actionable updates
- Ensure the shop floor knows what to run, when, and why
Systems & Data Accuracy
- Maintain accurate production data in ERP systems
- Ensure schedules reflect real-time conditions—not assumptions
Continuous Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in scheduling and workflow
- Help improve processes to increase throughput and reduce delays
