Sr. Accountant

Title: Senior Accountant – 3 to 6 Month Contract

Location: Carmichael, CA – Onsite

Job Type: Contract | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a dynamic finance team for a 3–6 month assignment covering a leave of absence. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented accounting professional to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close processes, prepare journal entries, and reconcile balance sheets.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting standards.
• Support system implementations and assist in transitioning from Great Plains to Sage Intacct or Business Central (preferred).
• Manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in accounting with a proven track record of month-end close and reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Onsite

Interview Process:

• Onsite interview with an accounting exam to assess technical skills.
