Client is seeking a skilled Regional Field Service Technician to support commercial laundry customers throughout California. This field-based role focuses on providing expert service, installation, commissioning, and technical support for advanced commercial laundry and automation equipment.
This position combines hands-on mechanical and electrical work with customer-facing responsibilities and is ideal for technicians who enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and traveling to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform service, maintenance, and repair on commercial laundry and automated equipment
- Install, commission, and optimize new machinery at customer locations
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Serve as a trusted technical partner to customers across the region
- Support sales efforts by identifying service opportunities and customer needs
- Document all service activities, maintenance work, and customer interactions accurately and on time
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior experience with commercial laundry equipment required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience diagnosing issues related to:
- Electrical systems
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Automated equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Proficiency with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout California and surrounding areas
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain one)
