In this role, you’ll support housing assistance programs by managing caseloads, assisting tenants and landlords, performing eligibility reviews, and ensuring compliance with HUD regulations. What You’ll Do:Client Support & Customer ServiceProvide exceptional service to applicants, tenants, and property ownersExplain program rules and requirementsRespond promptly to phone and written inquiriesPresent program information through community outreach and seminarsMonitor and assist with repayment agreementsProgram Operations & Caseload ManagementManage an assigned caseload of Section 8 participantsConduct annual, interim, and special recertificationsReview and process all required documentationDetermine eligibility and issue vouchersCoordinate orientations and briefing sessionsConduct interviews with clientsApply HUD rules and Housing Quality StandardsNegotiate rents with landlords and schedule inspectionsMaintain accurate and well-organized case filesCompliance, Reporting & TerminationsPrepare reports and correspondenceMonitor for program violations and recommend next stepsRepresent the organization in hearings, tenant conferences, and court proceedingsAssist in resolving disputes and conflicts when neededAdditional ResponsibilitiesSupport higher-level staff as neededParticipate in team meetings and performance improvement discussionsMaintain a valid driver’s license and meet driving standards What We’re Looking For:High School Diploma or GEDAt least 2 years of experience in a similar role (eligibility, case management, housing programs, or related administrative or customer service fields)Strong communication, organization, and attention to detailAbility to interpret policies and regulationsComfortable working with diverse communities and high-volume workloadsCompany DescriptionFor over 30 years, clients and candidates have entrusted AtWork to provide workforce solutions nationwide.
