Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Real Estate Pre-Closer role located in Orlando, FL. The Pre-Closer will handle the preparation and review of real estate closing documents, ensure accurate and timely completion of closing tasks, and communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders. Collaborating closely with team members, the Pre-Closer will ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with regulations to ensure a smooth closing process for all parties involved.
Qualifications:
File Intake & Review
- Open new title files and verify contract details, parties, and required information.
- Order and review title searches, lien searches, estoppels, surveys, and payoff statements.
- Identify outstanding title issues and escalate for resolution when needed.
Document Coordination
- Collect buyer, seller, lender, and realtor documentation, including IDs, informational forms, association contacts, and trust/corporate documents.
- Ensure all title commitments, payoffs, HOA documents, tax certificates, and municipal records are complete and accurate.
Communication & Client Support
- Act as the primary point of contact through the pre-closing stage.
- Provide timely updates to agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers.
- Maintain professional, clear communication to ensure all parties understand next steps.
Title & Compliance Preparation
- Clear title requirements and work with attorneys, processors, and underwriters as needed.
- Confirm insurance, assessments, and taxes are up to date and properly documented.
File Preparation for Closing
- Prepare closing checklists and ensure all pre-closing tasks are completed.
- Upload and organize all required documents in the closing system (e.g., Qualia).
- Coordinate wire/payoff instructions, preliminary closing statements, and scheduling.
- Transition the file to the closer with complete documentation and status notes.
System & Task Management
- Follow internal workflows and company SOPs.
- Update system notes, tasks, statuses, and communication logs in real time.
