Forward Deployed Software Engineer (Python/TypeScript)

Forward Deployed Engineers, Between $150,000-230,000 base (depending on experience) equity (Applications welcome from Software OR Data driven professionals as long as you're a builder)

Forward Deployed Engineers sought for a fast-growth and highly successful AI/ML & product driven business in NY (midtown). This is a really exciting opportunity to join a scaling Series A business who are already profitable and have tripled in size over the last 6 months. We are welcoming applications from multiple backgrounds (data/analyst/SWE/scientists/consultants) as the role is multi-faceted and building is just one part - ideally you will be very analytical in nature and now only have built applications but also be able to work with messy data and have the confidence to be client-facing.

The FDE's here have huge ownership over their work - whether you're one year in industry or ten, you will have complete autonomy over each project and focus on cutting-edge 0-1 projects. It's a great role if you are data-driven, enjoy working closely with customers to understand their pain points and what they're in need of and want to do more than just code: literally transform the way businesses work using powerful tools.

These roles are welcoming a wide range of experience from 6 months through to heavy hitting senior/leads. Salary is between 150-230K base strong equity, healthcare and many other benefits

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a technical role as either a software or data professional (We use Typescript & Python)
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving aptitude - you will perform better if you haven't been confined to basic feature or dashboard development and instead have had the chance to build end to end solutions or focused on data analytics/modeling/pandas
• Ability to work independently and own outcomes autonomously - you will always have support but we're looking for teammates who want to fully own their work and shape everything
• A track record of delivering real-world outcomes with code or data science
• Strong customer facing skills - able to work closely with clients to shape their pain points and advise on how to take their data and make it valuable to them
• Flexibility with some travel (5-25% and otherwise flexible hybrid schedule in NY)
• Bonus points for shipping AI/ML/LLM applications
