About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Human Resources Generalist to support the daily operations of our HR department. Working as part of a small HR team, this role plays a key part in recruiting, employee support, compliance, and HR program administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment efforts for key positions, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews
- Support onboarding processes, including background checks and employment verifications
- Administer HR programs such as benefits, leave of absence, and HRIS processes
- Track and maintain compliance with required training, certifications, and licensure
- Serve as a point of contact for employee and supervisor HR-related questions
- Assist with employee relations matters, including performance concerns and workplace investigations
- Collaborate with managers on job descriptions, hiring needs, and staffing strategies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based role within a collaborative HR team
- Limited local travel may be required

Minimum Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (HRIS)
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting and employee relations
