Looking for a part-time position that gets you out from behind a desk?

ATTIC Correctional Services is seeking dependable, self-motivated professionals to join our Supervised Release Program, which serves correctional clients with a history of sexual offenses who are returning to the community following incarceration and participation in a treatment program.

As a Transport & Monitoring Specialist, you will provide transportation, conduct monitoring visits at supervised residences, and help ensure clients follow the rules and conditions of the program. This is meaningful, community-based correctional work that supports both successful reentry and public safety.

This position involves direct, professional contact with adults who have a history of sexual offenses. Employees are expected to maintain firm professional boundaries, follow established supervision procedures, and interact with clients in a respectful, objective, and safety-focused manner.

This Position Is Different Than Most Jobs

Before applying, it is important to understand how this position works:

✅ You will work directly with correctional clients.
Clients are returning to the community after incarceration and participation in a treatment program. Your role is to provide structured transportation and monitoring services—not therapy or treatment.

✅ There is no office to report to each day.
Your work takes place throughout your assigned service area rather than from a central office.

✅ You will use your own reliable vehicle.
You will travel throughout your assigned area using your personal vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed, and business use of your personal cell phone is also reimbursed.

✅ Your schedule varies.
This is not a traditional Monday–Friday, 8-to-5 position. Assignments are based on client needs and generally occur on weekdays, with occasional evening and weekend services. Most employees work approximately 10–20 hours per week, although weekly hours vary.

If you are looking for predictable shifts in one location, this likely is not the right fit. If you are comfortable with the client population and value flexibility, independence, and meaningful public-safety work, it may be an excellent fit.

• Comfortable using smartphone apps for scheduling, reporting, and timekeeping

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Good driving record
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Proof of automobile insurance
• Smartphone with the ability to use scheduling and reporting applications
• Ability to travel frequently throughout your assigned service area
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background screening

Preferred

Education or experience in:

• Criminal Justice
• Corrections
• Human or Social Services
• Psychology or Sociology
• Behavioral Health
• Mental Health
• Security or Law Enforcement

Experience working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system or other human service populations is strongly preferred.
