Job Description: As a caregiver at Attend Home Care, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being and comfort of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, oral hygiene, and medication reminders.
• Mobility Assistance: Support clients with walking, transferring, and repositioning to ensure safety and comfort.
• Incontinence Care: Help clients with toileting needs, including using a bedpan, urinal, or assisting with bathroom trips.
• Meal Assistance: Aid with meal planning, grocery shopping, and preparing meals according to client dietary requirements.
• Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping, including laundry, bed linens, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments and errands as outlined in the client’s care plan.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care services provided and client progress, reporting any changes to your supervisor.
• Safety & Environment: Monitor the environment for safety hazards and take immediate action to address potential risks.
• Social Interaction: Provide emotional support through respectful communication, offering companionship to clients.
• Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of client privacy and confidentiality.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure quality care delivery.
• Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training to enhance caregiving skills and remain compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old.
• A compassionate and positive attitude toward caring for others.
• Experience in home care is preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized.
• Flexible, calm, and resilient in all situations.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must complete required training and health assessments.
