Responsibilities
The Centralized Servicing Specialist is primarily responsible for the processing, review and posting of payments for multiple departments as well as other centralized strategies including but not limited to deceased and hold code reviews.
What you will be doing:
- Assisting with payment posting, deposits, overages, and refund tasks to ensure steps are well documented and completed accurately
- Resolving problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved concerns
- Accurately keeping records by entering information correctly and in a timely manner to ensure accounts are documented properly
- Monitoring, reviewing, and updating accounts as it relates to deceased updates and hold code reviews
- Other tasks as assigned by Leadership
Qualifications
What you should have:
- High School Diploma with minimum two years’ experience in data entry or clerical position
- Payment posting and customer service experience with a financial institution or consumer finance company preferred
- Strong ability to accurately process and complete high volume requests of data entry
- Computer proficiency: Experience with multiple loan management software required
- Advanced Microsoft product skills specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer relations/interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees, especially Branch team members
- Able to demonstrate enthusiasm and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills as they relate to customers, courts, legal offices, field team members and home office team members
- Ability to work independently and efficiently at a high pace with high level of accuracy.
Base Hourly Rate: $18.50 - $19.00
The base hourly range represents the low and high end of the anticipated hourly range for this position based on the state average. The actual base hourly offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
