Occupational Therapist - School Based Hours Position Summary Provides occupational therapy and sensory integration services to students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities. Provides individual, group and classroom services specific to IEP goals and services. Ensures treatment efficacy, adherence to internal policies and procedures, and regulatory compliance. Provides ongoing hands-on training, support, and supervision of goal implementation and data collection to ensure quality and consistency of service provision. Functions as a collaborative member of the school team to promote an optimal student and team member experience in line with Kadiant values. • Work Schedule - Monday- Friday: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm • Extended School Year (ESY): Student schedule Monday- Friday: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm • Generous compensation & benefits with lots of earnings potential and growth opportunities • Get mentored by experienced and supportive Clinical Directors • Positive work environment with an emphasis on a healthy work-life balance • Access to a wealth of resources, training, and support systems to help you do your job better and more efficiently Responsibilities • Conduct or oversee assessment, and monitor ongoing performance of fine motors, perceptual motor, sensory motor, and oral motor function • Develop fine motor, perceptual motor, sensory motor or oral motor IEP goals and objectives • Establish appropriate environmental modifications to support student achievement • Develop and implement activities designed to target the acquisition of/or compensations for deficits in fine motor skills, sensory motor skills, visual perceptual skills, and self-care skills • Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs); adhere to IEP legal and timeline requirements • Prepare progress reports for individual students including progress on goals and recommendation for occupational therapy/sensory integration
