What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesperson position at Attack A Crack?
Attack A Crack does foundation repair. Started in Connecticut 20 years ago, recently opened in Massachusetts. Four employees total. The work is solid—our repairs last forever and customers come back. But none of us excel at selling.
You'd be employee #5, be building the sales operation from nothing with the owner.
The Job:
100% commission. No salary. Big rates because we're small, but you only get paid when you close.
You'll be out meeting people. Real estate agents, home inspectors, property managers, contractors. Networking events. Cold calls. Door knocking. Whatever it takes. Learn our services, build relationships, bring in business.
Nobody will manage you. You need to wake up and go without anyone telling you to.
Why You'd Want This:
Uncapped commissions. Make as much as you can close.
Ground floor. Your ideas actually matter. If this works, there's bonuses, overrides, ownership down the line.
You're helping build something real, not pushing widgets for some corporation.
What We Need:
Networking skills. You can walk into any room and people remember you. They like you. They trust you.
Self-motivation. You don't need a boss breathing down your neck. You just go.
Integrity. Foundation repair has scammers. We're not that. You need to tell people the truth even when it costs you a sale.
Self-initiative. You see an opportunity, you make it happen.
You need a car and license. You need to be able to talk to anyone. And you need to have worked hard before—tell us about it.
The Legal Bit:
MA law says we pay minimum wage for hours worked even on commission. First few months we'll train you and give you leads while you figure it out.
Apply:
Send in your resume. More importantly, tell us in a few sentences why you're the hardest-working person we'll meet and why you can sell for a company this small.
If you want to build something and make real money doing it, let's talk.
