Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Team members to join our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering goods to customers, managing warehouse tasks, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role requires a professional with strong driving skills, physical stamina, and excellent customer service abilities to support our company's commitment to quality service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver products to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by addressing customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishment as needed.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.
Skills
- Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or related roles involving route driving.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Warehouse experience including load & unload operations, forklift operation, pallet jack handling, and heavy lifting.
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices for box trucks and similar vehicles.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
- Physical stamina for moving heavy loads and performing manual labor tasks throughout the day.
- Familiarity with route planning software or GPS navigation tools is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Driver experience is preferred and Driver Helpers are needed. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while maintaining safety standards across all operations.
