The Service Solutions Manager leads the Front-End (FE) team to drive execution excellence and capture sales opportunities that support all customer equipment assets. This role ensures ATS maximizes asset potential while positioning us as a proactive partner in our customers’ continuous improvement missions. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to grow service opportunities through strong relationships, process discipline, and a passion for delivering results.

The Opportunity
The Service Solutions Manager leads the Front-End (FE) team to drive execution excellence and capture sales opportunities that support all customer equipment assets. This role ensures ATS maximizes asset potential while positioning us as a proactive partner in our customers’ continuous improvement missions. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to grow service opportunities through strong relationships, process discipline, and a passion for delivering results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Front-End (FE) team, ensuring effective execution and achievement of sales and service growth objectives.
- Partner with division Back-End teams and Global Service leaders to expand asset intelligence and deliver value-added services within the “growth account” (Tier 2) and “long tail” (Tier 3) customer segments.
- Manage the bookings forecast, pipeline, and performance to exceed plan targets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Global Services on front-end operations, ensuring alignment with multi-segment processes and procedures.
- Drive full adoption of CRM and other technologies to maximize opportunity management and customer engagement.
- Conduct effective pipeline reviews and implement continuous performance improvement practices across the team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver tailored customer solutions aligned with operational needs, cost structures, and margin expectations.
- Leverage CAPEX projects, FAT, and SAT milestones to promote and sell additional services.
- Support closure of outstanding financial transactions when required.
- Provide governance and oversight to ensure consistent front-end execution and superior customer experience.
- Visit customer sites as needed to support key opportunities and strengthen relationships.
- Articulate and promote the ATS Services value proposition to customers, colleagues, and industry partners.
- Build strong internal partnerships across divisions to align goals and drive results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in industrial services, automation, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Expertise in CRM utilization and pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel as required (domestic and international).
