What You’ll Do
- Complete repairs, construction-type projects, and servicing of equipment according to manufacturer instructions, facility policies, and under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor
- Ensure equipment and utilities are maintained in good working order and facility grounds are properly maintained
- Conduct preventative maintenance as assigned, including facility logs such as water temperature, call lights, generator, and fire alarms
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility or larger institution (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to respond to emergencies and be on-call as needed
- Good working knowledge of state rules and regulations
- Ability to relate positively to residents, families, and team members
- Positive Can-Do Attitude and excellent attendance
