Essential Functions Of The Position
- Develop and deliver operating reports on sales performance, trends, productivity and other key metrics
- Analyze data in ambiguous situations to identify trends, patterns, gaps and insights that extend beyond descriptive analytics
- Collect, validate, analyze and distribute sales data in a timely and accurate manner
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Partner with sales management and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and support ongoing decision making
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions to define reporting, dashboard, and visualization needs
- Maintain and update standard updates, dashboards, and data models
- Document reporting logic, methodologies, and processes to support consistency and scalability
- Develop a working understanding of AtriCure’s data sources, systems, and reporting tools
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and automation over time
- Manage multiple priorities and deliverables while adapting to shifting business needs
- Adhere to data governance, security, and privacy standards
- Regular and predictable work attendance

- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field of study, Accounting, or Business Analysis is required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, analytics, or a related role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint and the use of sales data reporting tools
- Solid analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions
- Experience presenting data and insights in a clear, concise manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
- Ability to travel 10%
- Advanced degree
- 1-3 years sales operations experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry
- Experience supporting sales, sales operations, or commercial teams
- Proficiency in SQL or other data query languages
- Experience using business intelligence and data visualization tools including Power BI
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally bend, push, or pull
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
