Job Description
This role is a key member of the Collections Leadership Team, with responsibility for leading all core functions within one (or more) countries. This includes Commercial, Operations, Customer Relations, and Finance. The position is accountable for establishing and driving a strong local market presence, fostering meaningful engagement with prospects, industry partners, and Atradius Credit Insurance stakeholders.
The role requires a solid understanding of local regulatory, cultural, and business dynamics, and full ownership of setting and delivering the Country strategy in alignment with Global Unit goals. A strong focus on operational excellence, transformation, and cross‑border collaboration is essential.

In this position your key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and execute the Country business strategy in line with the Global Business Strategy and Unit objectives.
- Own and deliver country targets, including short‑ and long‑term sales and profitability goals.
- Lead and inspire teams within the country or region to understand, adopt, and execute the agreed strategy.
- Drive operational efficiency, portfolio management, and continuous improvement across all functions.
- Foster collaboration across functions, lead people effectively, and champion execution of the company manifesto at the country level.
- Lead client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction in close alignment with the Regional Commercial organization.
- Manage the full country P&L and ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations.
- Act as the key point of contact for local Atradius Credit Insurance stakeholders.
- Influence strategic decisions beyond the country level and contribute to wider unit and group initiatives.
- Ensure that all legal entities and branches hold the required business licenses and that renewals are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure immediate escalation to the Legal and Compliance function regarding:
- Data subject requests, data breaches, fraudulent activities, and phishing incidents.
- Official correspondence received from local authorities related to business activities.
- Proven ability to adapt to change and lead transformation in complex environments.
- Strong commercial mindset with a clear focus on results and value creation.
- Proactive approach to implementing change and improving business efficiency.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong networking and influencing capabilities across senior stakeholder groups.
- Ability to translate strategic decisions into clear, tangible actions.
- Confidence to assume responsibility and challenge the status quo, including making difficult or unpopular decisions when needed.
- Demonstrated success working collaboratively within a complex, matrix organization.
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams, multiple initiatives, and competing priorities.
- Flexible and resilient approach to ad hoc requests and evolving business demands.
- Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis.

- Competitive Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 annually, dependent on experience with a 25% bonus potential.
