Description:
Under the direction of the Senior Manager, the Employee Communications Manager will partner with HR and business stakeholders to develop and execute internal communication strategies that support key business initiatives, employee engagement, and long-term organizational goals. This role plays a critical part in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, providing communications expertise across multiple projects that enhance the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic internal communications plans aligned with HR and business objectives.
- Create, edit, and manage high-quality content across multiple channels, including email, intranet, web, presentations, and digital communications.
- Support omnichannel communication campaigns to drive customer engagement and retention.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is consistent, accurate, and delivered effectively.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews to maintain a high standard of communication content.
- Assist with the development of marketing and communications materials, including newsletters, white papers, press releases, videos, and other collateral.
- Manage website content and support digital communication initiatives.
- Track communications projects, timelines, and budgets as needed.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a Communications Manager, Lead Communications, or similar communications-focused role.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience supporting employee communications, internal communications, or corporate communications.
- Understanding of omnichannel communication and marketing strategies.
- Experience with employee engagement, retention, and change management communications is highly preferred.
