Responsibilities
- Order Management: Prepare and process purchase orders, communicate with vendors to confirm order details, verify pricing, and resolve discrepancies
- Inventory and Deliveries: Collaborate with inventory supervisors to process and track order receipts, manage delivery schedules, and maintain optimal stock levels
- Process Receipts: Log incoming shipments promptly so the accounts payable team can process invoices and issue payments on time
- Vendor and Supplier Relations: Support the purchasing team in maintaining positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Data and Reporting: Assist in preparing reports on purchases, returns, and related costs using Excel and internal systems
- Administrative Support: Fulfill requests for office supplies and perform general administrative tasks to support the purchasing department
- Current student or recent graduate with coursework in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn about the procurement process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
