Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes, and steering components.
- Service and maintain vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and tire service to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Follow dealership or industry standards for vehicle maintenance and repair procedures while maintaining detailed service records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle care.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on independent shop environments.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including transmissions, powertrain, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Experience working with GM, Ford, Dodge vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required.
- Prior experience with customer service in an automotive setting ensures clear communication and client satisfaction.
