Position SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Account Manager to join our team and oversee strategic client relationships within our IT Services practice. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for organic growth. The ideal candidate brings a blend of relationship management discipline and business development initiative—comfortable nurturing existing client relationships while actively pursuing net-new opportunities within those accounts. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow a portfolio of strategic IT Services accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for client stakeholdersBuild and maintain trusted relationships with clients ranging from program managers to executive leadershipProactively identify, develop, and close cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, including new projects and service linesLead business development activities within existing accounts, including proposal development, scoping, pricing, and contract negotiationPartner with delivery and technical teams to ensure successful execution of services and maintain account profitabilityConduct regular business reviews, track account health, and manage escalations as they ariseMaintain accurate pipeline and forecast information, managing the sales cycle from opportunity identification through close QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in Account Management, Client Partnership, or Business Development within the IT Services, Consulting, or Technology solutions industryDemonstrated success in managing client accounts and contributing to revenue growth, with specific examples of expanded business within existing relationshipsFamiliarity with the full sales cycle, including proposal creation, scoping, and negotiationAbility to navigate both operational delivery discussions and strategic business conversations with easeStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Preferred QualificationsExperience in managed IT ServicesExisting professional network within the NJ/NY metropolitan area Why Join UsCompetitive compensation package including base salary and performance-based incentivesOpportunity to work with enterprise clients on meaningful technology initiativesCollaborative team environment with strong delivery supportClear path for professional growth and career advancement
