Position Overview
This position supports trading operations by ensuring the accurate processing, reconciliation, and settlement of financial transactions. The role focuses on maintaining operational integrity across trade lifecycles while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to minimize risk and ensure data accuracy.
The individual will also contribute to improving and automating operational workflows through collaboration with technical teams.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 0–3 years of professional experience (entry-level candidates or recent graduates considered)
- Bachelor’s degree (quantitative or analytical field preferred)
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Key Responsibilities
Trade Operations & Settlement
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of trade processing, including clearance, settlement, and reconciliation
- Ensure accuracy of transaction records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Coordinate with external partners such as brokers, custodians, and clients to facilitate trade settlement
Reconciliation & Risk Mitigation
- Perform daily reconciliations of trades and positions to ensure data consistency
- Identify and resolve breaks to prevent operational or financial risk
- Maintain accurate books and records across systems
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams including trading, finance, compliance, and technology
- Communicate issues, updates, and resolutions effectively across stakeholders
Process Improvement & Automation
- Partner with engineering teams to enhance and automate operational workflows
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and scalability
- Contribute to the development of tools, controls, and system enhancements
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform data analysis to support operational insights and decision-making
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and investigation of operational issues
Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in data analysis and technical problem-solving
- Experience or familiarity with SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
