What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Specialist position at Atlas Search?

My client is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide deskside and remote support, manage incidents and service requests, and help enhance overall service delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver exceptional technical support for end users—both onsite and remote.
- Own and resolve IT incidents and requests from start to finish.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, AV, and network connectivity.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow ITIL best practices.
- Collaborate across teams to resolve escalations and support technology rollouts.
- Provide backup coverage and assist with high-priority issues when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in IT support (financial services experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, Office 365, Active Directory, Intune, and Azure AD.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Cisco VPN, MFA, and basic networking (TCP/IP, WAN).
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Detail-oriented, accountable, and professional in all interactions.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
