Tax Managers

One of my top public accounting firms is looking to hire multiple Tax Managers.

These openings are due to growth.

The partners are a mix from big and small firms and they like to hire not only based on technical skills but personality is an important factor as well.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex tax compliance engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards, within budget and deadline expectations
• Identify and respond to client issues in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner.
• Manage expectations effectively through clear and continuous communication with the client and/or other accountant
• Communicate advice and answer questions of other associates relating to clients' accounting and tax situations
• Participate in and provide leadership for firm initiatives and projects
• Plan and schedule engagements with clients and firm resources

Qualifications

• 7 years solid experience in corporate, partnerships and individual compliance.
• BS and/or Masters in Accounting.
• Must be a CPA
• Superb communications skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Able to problem solve and think both creatively and logically.
• Strong tax research skills.
