We are partnering with an established Asset Management organization in NYC that is seeking a Tax Director to join its tax team. This position offers direct exposure to senior leadership and reports to an accomplished Head of Tax who is recognized for being both technically strong and an exceptional mentor.

What You'll Do
- Oversee the review of quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures (ASC 740)
- Manage the review process for federal, state, and local tax compliance prepared by external service providers
- Coordinate and respond to federal, state, and local tax examinations, audits, and inquiries
- Assist with identifying, developing, and implementing tax planning opportunities and strategic initiatives
- Partner closely with finance, legal, operations, and external advisors on a variety of tax-related matters
- Support special projects, transactions, and business initiatives as the organization continues to grow
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on tax-related issues and opportunities

Qualifications
- 10 years of tax experience, including corporate income tax compliance (Form 1120) and income tax provision experience (ASC 740)
- Experience gained within public accounting and the financial services industry
- Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
Days in office:
- 4 days per week
Salary : $200,000 - $225,000
