What are the responsibilities and job description for the Space Planner position at Atlas Search?
Our client is a Fintech firm looking to hire a Space Planner to cover a long-term leave (18-24 months) in their Manhattan office. This role will be eligible for the company's benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Administer workspace assignments, including guest seating, desk relocations, and updates, ensuring system records are current.
- Organize large move events by tracking relocation lists, checking space availability, and partnering with internal teams for execution.
- Maintain accurate space and occupancy data in CAFM/IWMS systems through regular audits and updates.
- Review badge and seating data to inform workplace planning.
- Update CAD floor plans and assist with space planning, restacks, and organizational scenarios.
- Support space forecasting and analyze occupancy patterns.
- Assist with transitions between space management tools, ensuring accurate data and process adaptation.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8 years of space planning experience in a corporate environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup, reconciliation).
- Familiar with CAFM/IWMS platforms and space data management.
The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $155,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
