Position Overview
We are seeking a Finance Manager with deep Anaplan expertise to lead the development, optimization, and governance of enterprise planning models. This role combines technical model-building capabilities with strong business partnership skills, requiring an individual who can translate complex financial and operational requirements into scalable, user-friendly planning solutions.
The position will partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Tax, and Technology teams to improve forecasting, reporting, analytics, and decision-support capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Anaplan Model Ownership & Development
- Design, build, maintain, and enhance Anaplan models supporting financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Own model architecture, documentation, version control, governance, and change management procedures.
Business Partnership & Strategic Support
- Partner with Finance, FP&A, Tax, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective planning solutions.
- Translate complex business needs into scalable Anaplan models and reporting capabilities.
Project Leadership
- Lead planning, execution, and implementation of model enhancements and finance technology initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, stakeholder communications, and issue resolution.
Data Integrity & Governance
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of planning models and underlying data.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and improve reporting capabilities.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Anaplan Certified Model Builder certification required.
- 5–8 years of hands-on Anaplan model-building experience within a finance or accounting environment.
