What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bankruptcy Paralegal position at Atlas Search?
Our client is an AmLaw 200 law firm located in Manhattan seeking a Paralegal!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related documents for Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases.
- Communicate with clients, creditors, and trustees to gather information and provide case updates.
- Draft bankruptcy-related motions, notices, and correspondence.
- Manage case deadlines and assist with hearings and court filings.
- Maintain and organize client files in compliance with legal standards.
Requirements:
- 3 years of Bankcruptcy Paralegal experience at a law firm or in-house at a financial services firm
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
The annual base salary range is $100k to $150k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
