- Monitor the activities of small groups of students to ensure a safe environment at all times
- Supervise and guide students as they complete tasks, fostering the development of a strong work ethic and professional skills
- Help to maintain discipline that is aligned with Atlas protocol under supervision of the Skilled Trades Lab Teacher
- Assist the Skilled Trades Lab Teacher with:
- Daily planning of construction class projects and related instruction
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Breaking down competencies, tasks and projects for diverse learners
- Submitting class attendance
- Accommodating the special needs of individual students as needed
- Classroom coverage when the Trades Lab teacher is out for the day
- Fulfill AM and PM duties involving student arrival and departure, transitions between class periods, and lunch periods as assigned
- Salaried/Exempt
- Annual Salary Range: $43,163
- Full Time; Monday – Friday; Occasional evenings as needed
- Approximately 13 weeks of paid school breaks
- 30 hours of annual flex time and 48 hours of annual sick time

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to successfully pass all required background screening pursuant to CRS
- 22-30.5-110.7
- Must have a valid Colorado driver's license and be willing to complete various errands for supplies
- Possess at least 2 years of professional-level skills in carpentry, electrical, drywall, and other construction related fields
- Be 100% committed to creating a rigorous, nurturing, and joyful educational experience for a diverse group of students
- Bilingual; Spanish & English
- Previous experience with substitute teaching
- Prolonged periods of standing and working with power tools and other related equipment (indoors and outdoors)
- Must be able to lift or carry burdens weighing up to 50 lbs. and push/pull burdens weighing 100 lbs.
- Must be able to perform activities involving sitting, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling/bending, crouching/squatting, crawling, twisting, and reaching utilizing a ladder or a lift
- Must be able to work with hands above shoulder height, carrying weight
- Must be able to abide by all policies and procedures of Atlas Schools
