What You’ll Do
- Embody the mission and vision of Atlas and execute rigorous and standards-aligned curriculum
- Create, edit, revise, and share lesson plans for the school to retain as needed
- Create and maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the developmental level and interest of the students
- Deliver daily, weekly, interim, and end-of-year assessments to consistently capture student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues and instructional coaches with sincerity and a growth mindset
- Support colleagues during their absences by providing classroom coverage (compensated additionally)
- Actively participate in professional development and learning opportunities as needed/required
- Draft scholar report cards to ensure meaningful information is displayed for families and revise as needed
- Actively engage with families to understand their backgrounds and experiences in order to support an equitable and inclusive school environment
- Communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Be present for all quarterly parent/teacher conferences and actively engage with families
- Support Atlas' summer enrichment program
- Participate in additional activities including field trips, academic support sessions, community building events, and other required programs as needed throughout the year to best serve our children and community
- Support various duties to include arrival, dismissal, and lunch
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Compensation & Schedule
- Salaried/Exempt
- Signing Bonus: $1,000
- Annual Salary Range: $50,500 - $63,549 (DOE)
- Full Time; Monday – Friday; Occasional evenings and weekends as needed

- Annual Workdays: 199
- Following years will not include new staff orientation and will consist of 196 workdays.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Meet “in-field status” by fulfilling at least ONE of the following qualifications by October 31, 2026:
- Colorado Department of Education License with endorsement in Elementary Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education
- Successful completion of the PRAXIS 5205 and PRAXIS Series 5903 within the last 10 years
- Ability to successfully pass all required background screening pursuant to CRS § 22-30.5-110.7

Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual: Spanish & English or have experience working with bilingual students

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to regularly fulfill duties in person
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, and successfully working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed
