- Carry out a program of study prescribed in the lesson plans prepared by the classroom teacher
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students
- Help to guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives as indicated in the assigned lesson plan(s)
- Develop appropriate and meaningful relationships with students while making a tangible impact on the minds' and lives' of students
- Maintain a neat and orderly classroom
- Take attendance in accordance with school procedures
- Ensure that students are never left unattended in the classroom
- Be knowledgeable in the procedures for referring students with disciplinary problems
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Salaried/Exempt
- Signing Bonus: $1,000
- Annual Salary Range: $36,750
- Full Time; Monday – Friday; Occasional evenings and weekends as needed
- Approximately 13 weeks of paid school breaks
- 30 hours of annual flex time and 48 hours of annual sick time

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of successful professional experience
- Possess a sincere desire to become a full-time teacher with Atlas
- Ability to pass required background screening pursuant to CRS
- 22-30.5-110.7
- Possess a growth mindset that values feedback and is able to successfully implement such information
- Be 100% committed to the Atlas mission and educational equity
- Demonstrated maturity, humility, self-reflection, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in the face of competing demands and external pressures
- Bilingual: Spanish & English
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education) or in active pursuit of a Bachelor's degree
- Prior teaching experience with low-income communities
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed
- Must be able to abide by all policies and procedures of Atlas Schools
