- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Specialist as needed to support recruitment efforts, including candidate review, scheduling, outreach, and interview coordination
- Coordinate and support pre-employment processes, including screenings, onboarding requirements, and candidate communications to ensure a smooth hiring experience
- Assist with the planning and facilitation of new employee orientation and onboarding activities
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records in accordance with organizational procedures and applicable requirements
- Process employment verification requests accurately and within established timelines
- Coordinate employee appreciation initiatives and staff engagement activities aligned with Atlas’ internal culture and recognition calendar
- Manage logistics and budgeting for meals and hospitality associated with staff events and meetings throughout the school year
- Process employee offboarding tasks with accuracy and timeliness to support a seamless transition experience
- Conduct regular audits related to employee paid time off, benefit invoices, and substitute staffing utilization to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support HRIS maintenance and system updates to promote data integrity and operational efficiency
- Assist with updates and maintenance of applicable sections of the Atlas Schools website
- Record and maintain accurate board meeting minutes approximately once per month
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for Atlas employees by responding to HR-related questions and directing complex matters to the appropriate team members
- Model professionalism and uphold organizational policies, procedures, and expectations outlined in the employee handbook
- Foster positive, collaborative relationships that contribute to a joyful and supportive workplace culture
- Provide administrative and project-based support to the Managing Director of Human Resources as needed
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
- Hourly/Non-Exempt
- $19.50 - $22.90 per hour (DOE)
- Full Time; Monday - Friday
- Approximately 6 weeks of annual school breaks
- Please note hourly positions at Atlas are not annualized, and compensation is based upon actual hours worked.
- 64 hours of annual flex time and 48 hours of annual sick time

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successfully pass all required background screening pursuant to CRS
- 22-30.5-110.7
- At least two years of satisfactory work experience
- Proficiency within Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Outstanding attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
- Consistently maintain professionalism and confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment
- Display patience and empathy while effectively working with diverse populations
- Accurately follow directives and implement feedback with a strong growth mindset
- Bilingual; Spanish & English
- Complete familiarity and experience with all standard HR processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong commitment to excellence upholding high standards
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to work in a primarily non-remote setting
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
