Job Description

Reporting to the Shop Manager. Responsible for the assembly of wellhead and sub components, pressure testing and painting of wellhead and frac equipment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

• Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.
• Inspect, operate and test completed product to verify functioning and conformance to requirements
• Position and or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists
• Torque connections using manual and hydraulic torque wrenches
• Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies to eliminate malfunctions and to ensure proper operation
• Maintain and lubricate parts or components
• Preform other regular duties as assigned or requested

• Occasionally may be exposed to hazards such as loud noise, heavy equipment, temperature extremes, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and overtime as required by supervisor or manager

Travel

This position does not require any travel.

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certifications, must be current, and can be provided by Atlas Pressure Control or third-party vendor
• Knowledge of wellhead and frac equipment preferred
• Knowledge of wellhead and frac equipment preferred
• Ability to operate various hand tools
• Knowledge and awareness of high pressure hydrostatic testing
• Intermediate computer, language and mathematical skills
• Reasoning ability
