What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer - Plummer ID position at Atlas Patrol?
Compensation is $22 per hour, depending on experience.
This is a night shift position (2000 - 0800) and will work the following two week repeating schedule with 12 hour shifts:
Week 1: Work Monday and Tuesday, Off Wednesday and Thursday, Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Week 2: Off Monday and Tuesday, Work Wednesday and Thursday, Off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for armed position) with a high school diploma or equivalent.
-All applicants must successfully pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
-Two years experience in security
-Must have valid Drivers License
-Must have a smartphone with internet access
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must be available to work nights and weekends
Physical Requirements:
Applicants must be in good physical shape and able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time. This includes bending, kneeling and possibly sitting for extended times during each shift.
Preferred Skills:
-Experience working with the homeless population
-Ability to work well with others
-Have good interpersonal skills
-Display both verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to efficiently handle potentially high stressful situations
-Law enforcement or military background
-Certification in less lethal tools (OC, and or taser)
-Valid Washington State Guard Card
